Q26: Bystander Effect in Suburbs

In this video, a test was conducted to see who would respond if a child was in danger.

This is what psychologists call "diffusion of responsibility."  The more people who are near or involved in a  situation, the less likely people are to respond.  (This theory falls apart, in my opinion, when looking at the school room scenario, but who knows.)
